Our Beliefs & Purpose
A comprehensive guide to our mission, beliefs, and our commitment to Biblical truth.
Defending Biblical Truth
According To The Way.Org is committed to upholding the full counsel of Scripture, including the conviction that God's Law remains fully applicable under the New Covenant. We believe the commandments of God reveal His character, define righteousness, and guide the way His people are called to live today.
Our purpose is to equip believers with clarity and understanding so they can navigate complex theological issues with confidence, always returning to the Word of God as the final authority.
We approach difficult topics with honesty, seriousness, and a commitment to Scripture over tradition, culture, or human reasoning.
We exist to strengthen the body of believers through sound doctrine, faithful study, and thoughtful engagement with challenging questions.
What We Believe
The Authority of Scripture
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final and absolute authority for doctrine, morality, cosmology, and truth.
The Nature of God
We affirm that God is one, not three persons and not a "3-in-1" formulation. God is one divine being and one divine person, fully revealed in Jesus the Messiah, who is:
- God Himself
- the Father revealed (Isaiah 9:6-7)
- the Son in flesh
- the Spirit in power and presence
Jesus is the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9) and the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15).
We reject both Trinitarian theology and Oneness/Modalist theology. Jesus is the Father, the Son, and the Spirit — the one God of Israel.
The Messiah
Jesus (Yeshua) is the promised Messiah of Israel — human, sinless, anointed by God, crucified, resurrected, exalted, and returning to establish God's Kingdom on earth.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God, not a separate person.
Salvation by Grace Through Faith
Salvation is the gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus the Messiah alone. However, true faith produces obedience.
We believe that genuine salvation leads believers to walk in God's commandments:
- "If you love Me, keep My commandments." (John 14:15)
- "Faith without works is dead." (James 2:17)
- "The doers of the Law will be justified." (Romans 2:13)
- "Here are those who keep the commandments of God AND the faith of Jesus." (Revelation 14:12)
- "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." (Isaiah 8:20)
Grace does not abolish God's Law — grace empowers obedience. Through the Spirit, believers fulfill the righteousness of the Law (Romans 8:4).
Salvation is by grace through faith, but living faith always results in obedience to God's Law.
The Gospel
The Gospel is the announcement that God brings salvation through His Messiah. Through Jesus (Yeshua's) life, death, and resurrection, forgiveness and new life are offered to all who believe and obey.
God's Law
God's Law remains intact and expresses His righteous standards (Jeremiah 31:31-34). Believers uphold God's commandments through the Spirit and through faith in the Messiah (Romans 3:31). Isaiah 2 teaches that God's Law will govern the entire earth when Jesus returns to establish His Kingdom.
Israel and the People of God
We affirm that Israel is God's chosen people and that gentile believers are grafted into Israel's olive tree (Romans 11). We reject Replacement Theology and affirm that the modern nation of Israel remains part of God's ongoing covenant purposes. We do not follow Black Hebrew Israelite ideology.
Biblical Creation & Cosmology
We believe the world is to be understood according to Scripture alone:
- A young creation (Luke 3:23-38, Exodus 20:11)
- A flat and stationary earth (Isaiah 44:24, Psalm 104:5)
- A firmament above (Genesis 1:6-8)
- Waters above the heavens (Psalm 148:4)
- Sun, moon, and stars placed within the firmament (Genesis 1:14)
We reject evolutionary theory, the Big Bang, heliocentrism, deep-time cosmology, and modern scientific philosophies that contradict Scripture.
We view the Enlightenment and Scientific Revolution as major historical shifts that undermined biblical authority.
Rejection of Philosophy
We reject all forms of human philosophy, whether ancient, modern, religious, or secular. Human reasoning, speculative systems, or intellectual traditions cannot define truth. Only Scripture can.
Paul warns that philosophy is a deceptive tradition that leads people away from the Messiah (Colossians 2:8). We therefore rely solely on God's Word to understand reality, morality, creation, salvation, and the future.
Prophetic Perspective
We hold the view that Islam is the antichrist, which seems consistent with the biblical definition of "antichrist" (1 John 2:22).
Grace and Truth
We engage all discussions with conviction and humility. While we stand firmly on Scripture, we seek to speak with respect, clarity, and love. Our aim is not to win arguments but to point people toward the truth of God's Word and the hope found in His Messiah.
Honest and humble examination of difficult questions strengthens the faith of God's people and brings glory to Him.
